Hello,

I have trouble defining a .css rule for displaying a quick menu. It
works when I add it to:

  http://sawfish.wikia.com/wiki/MediaWiki:Monobook.css

The rule in question is #quick-menu on that page. And it works when
you visit the homepage:

  http://sawfish.wikia.com/

using **Monobook** skin. Just look at the top right corner and you will
see an unfolding menu "[+] Sawfish". This menu in the page source is
written as:

  {|id="quick-menu" class="toc"
  |
  <categorytree hideroot="on" mode="all">Main</categorytree>
  |}

And, obviously, I want to define a similar rule for the default skin.
The one when someone opens the site for the first time. And I tried
editing all the files mentioned in subject: Smoke.css, Quartz.css and
Quartzsmoke.css but it didn't work.

Also, when I edited the page

  http://sawfish.wikia.com/wiki/MediaWiki:Quartz.css

Something strange happened: when I opened it for the first time it was
completely empty. But when I clicked edit to add my "#quick-menu"
rule it was suddenly filled with a lot of stuff which I was afraid to
delete. And so this stuff stays there but it wasn't there in the
first place! It looks like it was me who added it by my edit, and
this is not true.

About the quick menu itself - you can see that when unfolding it - it
overlaps the text. This is what was intended here. If I simply add
this menu as a normal part of the page, all the text will scroll down
while the menu is being unfolded. And since this page has a kind of
"header" with a fish and a horizontal menu - all this scrolling down
looked quite ugly.

I'm looking forward for any hints from you and thanks for your help.
