I have been getting this whenever I try to reply to someone with an
"@wikia.com" email. This includes mailing lists, and it usually tries to give
me an attachment with a virus in it.

Yes, but I don't think it's actually from wikia-l. Check the properties of
the mail. It probably just has it as the From: address, but comes from a
non-wikia server.
