Perhaps have some users who are willing to do a bit of a research and see if there is a more suitable place for some requests?
IE: Someone requests avatarwiki.wikia.com (as a new one not import) and it's approved without really checking due to the "approve and fix after" only to find afterwards de.avatar.wikia.com would be more appropriate. The above is an example only of course.
