Perhaps that new system could work (with aggregation of course as you said). That feature of combining blog posts by category into a listing looks good to.
Heh... ^_^ though, that system is a good example at how MediaWiki is an absolute mess at trying to do anything past the standard editing of a single blob of text for an article. Note to self... when building new wiki engine, support comments... actually nah... the fact it's based on semantics and I have no intention of sticking to a standard "This Title" is "this versioned blob of text", and it'll be abusing E4X to template everything, should make it quite easy to create an extension that will handle comments or anything else. Ack tangent... I've been debating between the advantages of a big ACG project staying on Wikia, or creating something foundation-esque off-site. Perhaps opening up to internal, Wikia, and external wiki to open up the community more. Perhaps something partially connected to Wikia if possible. Though, for now Wikia will do for a little bit. Off-site may make things like dealing with a commons for ACG stuff, and separate-yet-connected wiki a bit easier. All in all... T_T I really need to find myself a good comfortable life niche. Being disconnected from the internet after and before work from long transit, and coming home to a place with a shitty connection doesn't fair to well with working on stuff. Though MonkeyScript, might not be as hard, but it's still easier with a connection. ~Daniel Friesen (Dantman, Nadir-Seen-Fire) ~Profile/Portfolio: http://nadir-seen-fire.com -The Nadir-Point Group (http://nadir-point.com) --It's Wiki-Tools subgroup (http://wiki-tools.com) --The ElectronicMe project (http://electronic-me.org) -Wikia ACG on Wikia.com (http://wikia.com/wiki/Wikia_ACG) --Animepedia (http://anime.wikia.com) --Narutopedia (http://naruto.wikia.com) Angie Shelton wrote: > Hi Daniel, > > Connecting users across Wikia communities more is something we have been > thinking about.
