There are some problems with how to do this correctly, so the extension
disallows 'native' nesting at the moment. Trying to do this the #tag magic
word does not really word either (see the document linked). In any case,
working out the correct numbering is non-trivial. If anyone comments
favourably, or acknowledges this bug at all, then I will fling together the
work I have done on this to get it into the form of a patch.
