Bot edits are logged as normal - viewable in the history, user contributions, hidden like all other bots (and you can view just bot edits: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:RecentChanges&hideliu=1&hidebots=&hideanons=1). No special oversight is needed here.
