Summary: Id conflicts between headers are possible in obscure
circumstances
Product: MediaWiki
Version: 1.14-svn
Platform: All
URL: http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.media
wiki.org%2Fwiki%2FUser%3ASimetrical%2FBug_16891&charset=
(detect+automatically)&doctype=Inline&group=0
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Keywords: parser
Severity: minor
Priority: Normal
Component: Page rendering
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]
Blocks: 209
This input:
== a ==
== a ==
== a 2 ==
produces the anchors "a", "a_2", and "a_2" respectively. A page containing
these headings would therefore break XHTML validity (see URL).
Parser::formatHeadings() should check for this case, if anyone can be bothered.
