--- Comment #4 from Lupo <[email protected]> 2009-01-07 08:10:28 UTC --- Well, I didn't invent the uselang hack. But I was under the impression that it also needed some server-side configuration to make it work (fallback languages and such). I may be mistaken, though. Check the German upload form for comparison: http://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Upload&uselang=defromflickr&uploadformstyle=plain This is served with a German sidebar and German user links at the top. It says "beobachtungsliste" instead of "my watchlist" at the top, as it should. Yet there is no /defromflickr subpage the [[:commons:MediaWiki:Watchlist]] message... (though I note that there _is_ a /frfromflickr subpage). http://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special%3APrefixIndex&from=Watchlist%2F&namespace=8 So, either I'm looking at the wrong message definition, or there is some black magic going on server-side that the server knows that the fallback language for "defromflickr" is "de", not the site's default language (which would be "en"). But for "fifromflickr", it somehow doesn't know that. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug.
