Summary: Watchlist data should be filtered by activity
           Product: MediaWiki extensions
           Version: any
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: Normal
         Component: FlaggedRevs
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]

[[Special:Unreviewedpages]] and [[Special:OldReviewedpages]] show the number of
user having the page on their watchlist, which would be very useful to identify
"high-risk" pages where it is easier to slip through a vandalism or a biased
edit - if only it would actually correlate with the number of users watching a
page. The problem is that only a tiny fraction of the accounts are "real"
users, most have already left the community a long time ago, or never stayed in
the first place.

A much better metric would be the number of *active* users watching the page
(where active could be defined as edited in the last N days, or maybe logged in
in the last N days).
