I recently updated an SVG image on commons, basically a set of line drawings
with some textual captions
(http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:SensorSizes.svg). I noticed that
reduced-size versions of this image are rendered much more cleanly and legibly
on Commons, while they are rendered very poorly on En.wikipedia.

I don't know what the source of this problem is, but if I had to hazard a
guess... I would say that there is some mis-configuration of the software that
renders SVG to PNG for English Wikipedia.
