Over the years, we of the English Wikipedia have edited many of MediaWiki's
interface messages, improving on the defaults. We've edited for clarity,
completeness, spelling, grammar, consistency. usefulness, etc. I went through
[[en:Special:AllPages]] and pulled out the improvements that I think would be
useful to have as defaults, so that other wikis benefit by default instead of
having to edit their messages too. I'd be happy to explain the reasoning behind
any of the changes.
