I'm not sure what the context is for the ProofreadPage extension is, but in particular, templates which assume that an audio file will have a certain naming scheme are totally stupid, broken by design, and should be expected to fail for reasons discussed at length on Commons. If that's analogous to what the extension you refer to does then it needs to be fixed.
