             Bug #: 32098
Summary: Warn editors when pages will display too wide for
                    mobile view
           Product: MediaWiki extensions
           Version: any
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Unprioritized
         Component: MobileFrontend
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected], [email protected]
    Classification: Unclassified

Browsing around on MobileFrontend view I've noticed that a lot of articles end
up getting too wide for the browser, in at least some section.

Often this comes about due to a table, or multiple images being forced
side-by-side (eg with a table ;), though I've also seen some wide-ish math
equations and there may occasionally be wide single images.

If we could have some sort of nice friendly visual warning during editing that
part of the page is unshrinkable, that might help editors to maintain their own
articles better for narrow-screen access.

This may be easiest to implement as a JavaScript preview-time tool, seeking out
tables and images that can't be shrunk/broken.
