The android app shows an alert "Please try again when you're connected to a
network" on every keypress when offline.
Presumably this is from the search suggestion hits.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Go into airplane mode or otherwise disable network
2) Open app
3) tap into search bar
4) Type anything
Expected results:
* let me type
* show suggestions from cached pages?
Actual results:
* alert() box shows and must be dismissed for each character
