With MW 1.18, the message [1] is shown in Special:Search for either
$wgAdvancedSearchHighlighting = true; or $wgAdvancedSearchHighlighting = false;
[1] Declaration of SphinxMWSearch::userHighlightPrefs() should be compatible
with that of SearchEngine::userHighlightPrefs()
