--- Comment #54 from Asher Feldman <[email protected]> 2011-11-30 01:36:05 UTC --- I just deployed a change to our bits varnish servers that has the following effect: - if a backend request fails with a 5xx error, varnish will retry up to 4 times - if content has changed but the backend is taking too long to generate a new version, the expired content will still be served for up to 20 minutes I'm hopeful that this will largely address the issue.
