[email protected] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Severity|enhancement |normal --- Comment #5 from [email protected] 2011-12-08 23:34:17 UTC --- As a compelling example why this is important, imaging querying for pages or properties that already have parentheses in them, like is common on Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fork_(software_development) If that page were a property, it would appear something like this with the way things currently work: (Fork_(software_development)) I hope that is clearer why this is a problem. I changed this bug report from "enhancement" to "normal", since after giving it further thought with the above example, it is a fairly important issue warranting removal of the parentheses. Making an option out of them is a possible enhancement, but I don't think it's needed. The sep= parameter should probably just be reconfigured to work on all returned data elements, with further customization done in templates, if needed. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug.
