It is off per default for Italian. So do it for German.
I (German) see the link on top of each page. and the checkmark in my prefs
(https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-editing)
is not set. the pref is titled "Narayam-Editor deaktivieren" - so it is active
if the checkmark is not set.
"German [de]: umlauts and sz" is the "input method" which is provided. No one
needs this. It is already available via the toolbar if someone isn't able to
type it and needs it.
Useless resource trashing. Do not do it! Thanks.
