             Bug #: 33366
Summary: iPad / iPhone CAPTCHAs difficult to enter correctly
           Product: MediaWiki extensions
           Version: any
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: trivial
          Priority: Unprioritized
         Component: ConfirmEdit (CAPTCHA extension)
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]
    Classification: Unclassified

When submitting wikimedia edit CAPTCHAs on my iPad with the current version of
the English Wikipedia, it auto capitalises the first word and often
autocorrects the combined words to two words with a space in between. This
makes correctly entering the CAPTCHA a laborious process.

What I'd like is for these behaviours to be disabled at the server end by
modifying the HTML form.

The necessary autocorrect and autocapitalize attributes are described here
