But the backlinks can actually be given a class by changing the 'Cite references link one' and 'Cite references link many' system messages. See https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Cite_references_link_one and https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Cite_references_link_many.
