             Bug #: 34001
Summary: PhoneGap-based iOS app: toolbar buttons don't visually
                    respond to presses
           Product: Wikimedia Mobile
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Unprioritized
         Component: iphone
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected]
    Classification: Unclassified

There was a glow effect on the toolbar buttons, achieved with an :active
pseudoclass in the CSS on the buttons... for some reason this doesn't appear to
work in the iOS app however.

I also tried using an explicit class and adding on touchstart/touchend events
but something goes wrong and the events all seem to get delivered at the end
(wtf?)

Especially for things that take a moment to respond, a visual indicator like
this is useful, and fits in better with standard platform behavior.
