There is no way to say for sure "This log entry belongs to this version". You can say this with a huge probability but not for sure. This also causes problems if you want to write Apps that should display one user's uploads. While writing MediaWiki:JSONListUploads.js on Commons, I had to convert each MW-date to a javaScript date and then comparing each date not having more than 10s difference.
