The API does not list any edits for users blocked with 'hideuser', but
Special:Contributions does. Compare the two links below:

Ideally the API should list their usercontribs, even if it hides their name in
generic lists & logs. (This is particularly relevant to [[m:user:StewardBot]],
which checks whether they have edits to suggest unhiding.)
