Download and unpack extension in server folder. 2. Run the updater. 3. Enable extension in LocalSettings.php However the correct steps when using the web updater are: 1. Download & unpack. 2. Enable extension. 3. Run updater. Then it works. The instructions at http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:LiquidThreads#Installation are correct. The README file could be updated using them? I went for the README assuming that the instructions there would be more recent, since some of the info at the wiki page is still referring to the old "beta".
