Bug #: 35368
Summary: Bad page titles after adding namespace shortcuts
Product: MediaWiki
Version: unspecified
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: Unprioritized
Component: Database
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]
Classification: Unclassified
Mobile Platform: ---

These pages were created in the mainspace before the WP namespace shortcut was
activated at hi-wp. Now, they're inaccessible. There's probably others like
these too, with other ns shortcuts. Opening :w:hi:WP:VP just leads to the page
in the corresponding namespace, not the page in the mainspace. Ideally, these
pages should've automatically moved when the namespace shortcuts were added.
Now they turn up in [[Special:WhatLinksHere]] but can neither be viewed, nor
deleted.
They should be moved to the proper namespace and this bug (not moving of pages
when adding ns shortcuts) fixed.
