Maybe this happened here (even if only for a short time)? The fact that the email address appears with the first letter in upper case also suggests that the type was not recognized properly. I was not able to reproduce the problem. The problem should go away after editing the page again. If not, then it should be checked that the type email is properly set for the property (e.g., by looking at Special:Browse). If all fails, a data repair run (Special:SMWAdmin) would be possible. I am quite confident that this will fix the issue and close this bug for now.
