* Enable JavaScript
* Open
http://de.wikipedia.beta.wmflabs.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Spielwiese&action=edit
* Jump into "Zusammenfassung"
* Enter as much ASCII characters as possible
-> After 250 characters the maxlength is reached
* Select one or more characters with mouse or keyboard
* Enter a new ASCII character
Actual result:
-> Nothing happens
Expected result:
-> The the ASCII character replaces the selected text
