drag on the chart to show area in zoomed mode is buggy in Chrome and Firefox.
You have to be very careful to not leave the graph area when doing the
zoom-drag -- if you leave it, you get visual bugs and it doesn't zoom
(presumably the zoom event doesn't trigger correctly)
