Summary: Use checkboxes or radio buttons instead of links when
multiple options can be toggled
Product: MediaWiki
Version: 1.15-svn
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: enhancement
Priority: Normal
Component: Special pages
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]
There are several places in the interface where filter options are given as
links, eg "hide links/hide transclusions/hide redirects" on
[[Special:WhatLinksHere]], "Hide minor edits | Show bots | Hide anonymous users
| Hide logged-in users | Hide my edits" and "Show last 1 | 2 | 6 | 12 hours 1 |
3 | 7 days all" on [[Special:Watchlist]], etc. This means it is only possible
to change one option at a time, which is inconvenient. Refactoring these
filters as checkbox or radio button arrays would enable several filter to be
changed at once.
