Jimmy Wales, as an individual, has zero connection with, and zero ability to respond to, this enquiry, and I view is as being completely ludicrous that such a question should be referred to him. The issue that was raised here several years ago has since become stale and rather irrelevant since alternate routes now exist for resolving the issue at hand. Overall, I'd classify this ticket under #fail, with an extra helping of "wtf were you thinking when you closed this ticket?". Sorry.
