I don't know what you mean by null-editing, but try out this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Today%27s_featured_article/2009 yourself. But the wrong date on that page is just a symptom of the problem. Check out http://jeays.net/wikipedia/featured.xml. That is the RSS feed to which I subscribe, and it also thinks that it is still May 5th. So obviously something in the back end that is supplying both of those pages with the date is incorrect.
