The fix for bug 36877 works very well.
I noticed that for

the search links will not **find** the target. LT will implement authority
control data and ask me not to add them to the top of the author pages.
This is why one can not see what kind of value (VIAF or PND) was searched:
VIAF:
http://www.librarything.com/commonknowledge/search.php?f=13&exact=0&q=%3A51719559
PND:
http://www.librarything.com/commonknowledge/search.php?f=13&exact=0&q=%3A9017636
Solution: One should **append**
"#VIAF" to the VIAF search and
"#GND" (**not** "#PND") to the PND / GND search link
i.e. The links should be (using "LT en"):
VIAF:
http://www.librarything.com/commonknowledge/search.php?f=13&exact=0&q=%3A51719559#VIAF
PND:
http://www.librarything.com/commonknowledge/search.php?f=13&exact=0&q=%3A9017636#GND
