The last bit of it is some i18n work, because there needs to be proper representation of the date and time. So, I'm asking the i18n people what to do, since there doesn't appear to be an obvious solution. Stay tuned. Note that the date selector on that field will overwrite the value, and does not include time, so if you mess with it, you'll lose the time value.
