I use the latest MAMP with PHP 5.3.6 and mediawiki 1.19.1
and have imported the LA dump.
I use tidy found in MAC OS X to fix some html bugs.
External Tidy works fine but internal Tidy does not.
Looks like in function execInternalTidy in tidy.php it checks for a class Tidy
but there seems to be only a class MWTidy.
