I know that these extensions aren't functional because the regex I used, both
with and without preceding and following forward slashes, on multiple wikis,
failed to trap spam accounts, even though I tested the regex and it matched the
usernames of the spam accounts.
This means we have no real way of controlling the creation of spammer accounts.
