But the xml response from the opensearchapi doesn't seem to having issues. http://zh.wikisource.org/wiki/Special:ApiSandbox?uselang=en#action=opensearch&format=xml&search=%E7%A7%8B&limit=10&format=xmlfm works for me, so the issue might not to be a site-config related / caching issue. I also see that autosuggest works in zh.wikipedia which is running 1.20wmf6 while zh.wikisource runs 1.20wmf7.
