             Bug #: 38812
Summary: "updated since my last visit" needs to be configurable
                    in preferences
           Product: MediaWiki
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: minor
          Priority: Unprioritized
         Component: History/Diffs
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]
    Classification: Unclassified
   Mobile Platform: ---

Is it possible that this function / feature could be set to have an entry in
"My Preferences" to enable it to be switched on and off according to the user's
own wishes please? It is kind of annoying (from my own perspective, mind, not
anybody else's) to have this thing sitting there, telling me something I
already know. I have a watchlist for that :) I'm not saying disable it or
anything, cause I know you won't, just make it configurable at a user level
(i.e default to on for the newbies, but let people switch it off if they wish
to.)
