Suppose you filed a page with oldid links, maybe you really want the search engines to index it, but it wouldn't make MediaWiki happy, since those are not cached, and it would need to render them (potentially costly) each time. And they would have '<meta name="robots" content="noindex,nofollow" />' anyway. Unless you can provide a very use case for doing this, it won't happen.
