wbsetitem currently uses a JSON serialization of items for the data parameter
that is slightly different (a bit more terse) than the export that one gets
from wbgetitem. wbsetitem should support (and only support) the serialization
wbgetitems gives (called "longform" by some). If "shortform" (the current form)
is used, it should raise an error.
