No. The source can't be changed on translatewiki.net and translations can't do
different things than the source (like transforming a message into its
opposite).

Erik rightfully objected to the "scary warning" part of the proposal. I think
the message can be made neutral right now, and replaced later if UW changes,
e.g. if we have a category picker which makes it easy to select the correct
category and we think that when it doesn't find one the user has done something
wrong he should be warned about.
