The default-setting for $egWBSettings['repoBase'] (set in WikibaseClient.hooks.ph) is "http://wikidata-test-repo.wikimedia.de/wiki/";. This value should be overwritten in the LocalSettings.php of the client with the correct link to the connected repo. I updated http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikidata/Development/Setup#Client_instance to mention that.
