A number of notifications throughout MediaWiki now auto-hide using JavaScript.
It should be possible to disable this auto-hide functionality with a user
preference. Auto-hiding messages (after two seconds, five seconds, whatever) is
an accessibility problem for users who read slowly or who don't understand
English natively or whatever else.
