Is *was* there because MediaWiki will be getting a load of JavaScript soon and
Michael expects bugs reported that are specific to web browsers. Tracking them
using a metadata field instead of with user unfriendly tracking bugs was the
reason the field was added.

P.s. would you happen to be the same person that removed the JavaScript
components I had added a few weeks ago?
