Works on my local machine (fedora 17) with ImageMagick 6.7.5-6 2012-08-11 Q16
but not on Toolserver's nightshade with ImageMagick 6.6.0-4 2012-05-02 Q16; the
original PNG also renders fine for me within Firefox.

more examples, currently.
