Steps to reproduce:
1) Open http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/VisualEditor:Test
2) Press "Edit"
3) Click at the end of an item in the big list at the bottom of the page.
4) Press SHIFT and LEFT, maintaining them pressed for a while
Expected behavior: Text is selected as long as SHIFT-LEFT is pressed
Actual behavior: Text is selected until deeper-level bullet is reached. When it
is reached, the previous selection is unselected, and a new selection starts.
