I'm more than happy to create this list, but in my opinion following discussions on a mailing list without being subscribed to it is actually, at least in my experience, not too easy if you have to constantly check list archives (rather than have emails delivered to you). Just to throw this out there as a suggestion, perhaps we create the list as a public list, open subscription but set to hold all posts from new members - I think we might be able to tweak a setting to autoreject such messages from moderated members. Then Thomas and yourself as list admins can subscribe the users that are Flow Funders or simply 'unmoderate' them.
