When a category page is redirected and the category becomes empty the category
page behaves a bit odd.
The redirect still functions but there is no reference back to the original
page on the destination page. only the text "1.REDICTECT" is printed where the
link should be.
Viewing the empty category by adding &redirect=no to it's url shows a
missing/empty category. There is no way of removing the redirect.
editing the category doesn't show the "#REDIRECT..." statement.
