Not sure when you start edit mode here, that's why a structured list of steps
is welcome. I guess you click edit and then try to scroll down to add a new
comment.

But Android and iPhone normally *have* a mode to mark text, e.g. for copying?
(I admit that my phones run other systems, hence the question.)
