Dear enwiki people, stop looking at your goddamn navel alreadhy.
Your wiki is not that important.
There won't be any death if you just start your thing a few days late. Is your
wiki such a bureaucratic mess that you wouldn't let your current arbcom keep
its mandate a few days longer to adapt to the situation ?
Also, you expect everyone to remember when your local elections are. Seriously
?
The whole thing is about something that was asked at the very last moment,
which resulted from a problem on *enwiki*'s side.
That no one started anything without "Jimbo appointing them". Well okay, but
this was just a formality, some kind of old weird local tradition. They were
already technically chosen, and if the Commissioners didn't 'dare' doing
anything before that (yay bureaucracy) it's your wiki's problem, not the techs.
If no one volunteered to be the Coordinator, it's not their problem either.
Stop beeing so damn self-important.
