Arguably I'm not sure if this is a bug or not.
The template preview feature doesn't follow redirects. I think it should as
most uses will mean to view the target page.
(OTOH people do use templates on redirect pages - But they're rendered in weird
and different ways and don't really display the templates - only their
metadata).
